Compact Sonic
The Compact Sonic head is a world leader in sheer numbers around the world. The first and smallest SonicSampDrill head produced for a huge variety of rigs worldwide. With a vibratory force of 20,000 pounds for the 2x5 model and 28,000 pounds of force for the 2x7 model, depths of 300 feet have been reached in optimal conditions.
The CS head is ideal for soil coring and sampling and for high production installations of heat loops, seismic shot holes, injection points. The head can easily replace and out-pace any direct push rig or small rotary rig. Production of boreholes can be as high as 2,400 in one day and more typically in the range of 1,400 feet. Continuous cores with sampling system such as the Aqua-Lock can achieve 300-400 feet per day.
The CS is ideal for small track crawlers, light weight trucks, mast systems for tractors, barge work, and even can be disassembled for heli-portable work.
